school graduates as associates in the firm. Because Connie has the most
experience in federal court filings, the supervisor asks her to advise

points the associates to the U.S court’s web site. The next week, one of
the associates, Dennis, files a brief for a federal course case
electronically. The electronic submission is not accepted and the brief
does not make it in as part of the court’s file.
